ALISSA R. GLICKMAN, PhD
FOUNDER + DIRECTOR
Dr. Alissa Glickman is a Licensed Psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families. Dr. Glickman received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Ohio State University and obtained her doctorate from the University of Miami with a specialization in child and family psychology. She completed her clinical internship at A. I. duPont Hospital for Children, and her postdoctoral fellowship at the CARES Institute, a specialty clinic at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine that serves children and families that have experienced trauma. Dr. Glickman continued working as a child psychologist at the CARES Institute for another 15 years, while also seeing clients of all ages part-time at her private practice.

Dr. Glickman holds a license to practice Clinical Psychology in New Jersey and has been granted the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology by the PSYPACT Commission, which provides her the opportunity to work virtually with clients located in in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and 39 other states, as well as the District of Columbia.
During her free time, Dr. Glickman enjoys the musical arts as both a participant in singing lessons and as a member of the audience at plays, musicals, and dance performances. She also enjoys biking, going on family vacations, and singing around the house with her daughters.

IRINA THORNE, PsyD
POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW
Dr. Irina Thorne is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and a postdoctoral fellow at Glickman Psychological Services with more than 10 years of clinical experience. She received her doctorate degree from Widener University with a specialization in child, adolescent, family, and school psychology. Dr. Thorne completed her clinical internship at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has also worked extensively within the Pennsylvania and New Jersey school districts providing school-based counseling and conducting psychoeducational assessments. Dr. Thorne has a wide variety of clinical experiences working with all age groups to treat and manage anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, anger, and personality disorders. Dr. Thorne also helps individuals and families overcome life challenges and transitions. Dr. Thorne is a certified School Psychologist in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is also a certified Animal-Assisted Therapist.
Dr. Thorne incorporates various empirically-supported and well-researched interventions to help her clients process, manage, and overcome challenges. She encourages clients to identify specific goals based on their experiences, culture, values, and belief systems. Dr. Thorne is fluent in Russian and is able to work collaboratively with individuals, families, and medical professionals to provide bilingual services.
In her free time, Dr. Thorne enjoys spending time with her family and pets.

RENELLE QUASHIE, MSW, LCSW
LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
Ms. Renelle Quashie, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families for the past 17 years. Ms. Quashie received her undergraduate degree from the College of New Rochelle and received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Long Island University. Ms. Quashie completed her clinical placement as a School Social Worker in Brooklyn, NY. She subsequently worked at the August Aichhorn Center for Adolescent Residential Care in Brooklyn, where she provided individual and family therapy to severely traumatized and adjudicated teens. Ms. Quashie also served as an Associate Program Director at August Aichhorn and provided supervision to therapists, unit leaders, and all senior staff in the program.
Ms. Quashie has a wide variety of experience working with children, teens, adults, and families. She has worked in the foster care system with children and families, provided counseling to teens in a psychiatric hospital, and most recently has been doing outpatient therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. Ms. Quashie uses a strengths-based, compassionate approach with her clients, and she supports her clients and their parents with the ability to recognize the importance of embracing the challenges and rewards that come with the therapeutic process. Ms. Quashie works with clients with a range of specific needs, and uses tools associated with various evidence-based treatments, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Ms. Quashie acknowledges the difficulties that may arise with being vulnerable and open about personal matters, as well as the bravery that comes with accepting the need for change.
During her free time, Ms. Quashie loves to spend quality time with her friends and family. Ms. Quashie enjoys traveling, quiet serene moments at the beach, bike riding and roller skating. Ms. Quashie believes in practicing self-care and takes time to decompress with weekly yoga and meditation.
JESSICA DEESE
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Jessica is the Administrative Assistant at Glickman Psychological Services. Jessica is passionate about mental health and is dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals and families. With 14 years of medical and patient care experience, combined with a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology, she brings a comprehensive understanding of mental health to our clients. Jessica has worked as a crisis counselor and served as a guardian ad-litem for children in family court. Whether working with children, teens, the elderly, or families, she excels at building connections and providing compassionate care.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with family and hunting for vintage finds. However, what brings her the most joy is building meaningful relationships. She believes there is nothing more fulfilling than the chance to positively impact someone’s life in a meaningful way.
